The programme
Do you live in the Landes or spend a season in Hossegor? Join the Surf Guides Hossegor Surf Club and make progress all year round in a friendly, motivating atmosphere.
There are two formulas to choose from: the Surf Guides Classic Club, for regular supervision and a real group spirit, and the Surf Guides Détente package, designed for those who want to surf at their own pace with greater flexibility.
Every week, Raph organises sessions in small groups of no more than 5 surfers, adapted to the tides, conditions and level of each surfer.
The aim is to surf locally, improve your technique, develop your independence and experience the Landes surf culture to the full. A variety of training sessions (filmed coaching, technical work, fun surfing) will help you improve in all areas: reading the ocean, paddling, placement, timing and flow.

Who is the Hossegor Surf Guides Club for?
The Surf Guides Hossegor surf club is for all surfing enthusiasts who want to surf regularly and make progress throughout the year.
Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced surfer, the club offers consistent level groups and personalised support. It's the ideal option for local residents or surfers who spend several months in the Landes.
What is the difference between the two formulas?
The Classic formula is for those who want to commit to a full season, with 15 to 30 lessons a year, a fixed group and real teaching support.
The Détente package is more flexible, with a book of 10, 15 or 30 lessons to book as you wish. You choose your dates, and Raph takes care of the rest: conditions, spots and progress.
Is the equipment included in the club membership?
No, the equipment is not included by default in the club subscription.
Most members already have their own board and wetsuit.
However, equipment can be loaned on request, in particular to test other types of boards or if there is a specific need.
How are the club sessions organised?
Club sessions are planned each week according to the tides, conditions and availability of the group.
Venues and times are communicated on average two days in advance via a dedicated WhatsApp group.
The spots vary between Hossegor and Seignosse, to suit the best conditions at the time.
